In the Name of God
It is great pleasure to welcome all faculty, students, researchers, and industry delegates to the 2 nd Joint Congress on Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems (ISFS2008). It is second occasion for a joint gathering of two of Iran’s scientific societies on fuzzy systems and intelligent systems and their corresponding conferences, i.e. the 8th Iranian Conference on Fuzzy Systems (CFS2008) and 9th Conference on Intelligent Systems (CIS2008).
· The first joint gathering was a successful collaboration among the researchers in two fields and I am confident that the second joint gathering will be more interesting to researchers in both fields and explore the fertile ground where fuzzy logic/theory meets intelligent systems, and your participation at the congress will greatly add to this success.
· A separate student track is held alongside the congress’s regular track. We hope this will foster further interest among the students.
· The established technical committee, ensures high quality of articles at the conference at both regular as well as student levels.
· We have international keynote speeches and plenary sessions on Intelligent and Fuzzy Systems. Also workshops by faculty and industry experts will be presented.
The congress will be held at Malek-Ashtar University of Technology (MUT) on Lavizan's compus, Tehran, Iran
from 28-30 October, 2008.
Finally, we appreciate all contributions from faculties, students,
session organizers, invited speakers, exhibitors and industry delegations as
well as support from Iranian Society of CFS and CIS permanent committee,
technical committee, and the organizing committee including all dedicated
students.Together, we look forward to a successful ISFS 2008, and hope that we
can provide a rewarding and pleasant experience for you all.
